Newcomer to the 9Pandas Dota 2 roster, Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet, shared his thoughts on his teammate Aleksei "Solo" Berezin. The support player praised Solo's mentoring skills and his role within the team.
"Solo is a very kind and positive person, the 'heart of the team,'" said Sayuw. "He’s always there to support you if things aren’t going well, and he makes an effort to connect with everyone and understand all situations. He tries to convey his perspective in the game, and if something isn’t clear, he will explain it multiple times to ensure everyone gets it. Solo is probably like an older brother in 9Pandas. He’s an amazing player and a great guy," expressed Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet.
On May 1, 2024, sayuw joined 9Pandas, replacing Vladislav "Antares" Kertman, who moved on to continue his career with Virtus.pro. Unfortunately, with Kalenbet on the team, they failed to qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2024, not making it through the open qualifiers.
The next tournament for 9Pandas will be the Eastern European closed qualifiers for The International 2024, which will take place from June 14 to 18. The participants will compete for one spot in the world championship.
