PARI Esports director Sergey Glamazda revealed that his club is backing the new Dota 2 mix led by Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin. Although the organization is not ready to officially sign the team yet, they will be monitoring their progress closely.
"Do we communicate with Daxak and support his initiatives? Yes, we do," said Glamazda. "We maintain dialogue with various teams, organizations, and individuals, and we want them to succeed. Whether our relationship will evolve into formally integrating someone into our team is uncertain. Right now, we're at the stage where Daxak has gathered some players, and they are beginning their journey. We are here to support them. It's clear that my sports director and I are keeping an eye on specific players and offering support. If we decide that we want to bring someone into our organization, then we will have a more detailed discussion. Currently, this is their initial micro-start, and we’ll see how Nikita's endeavor progresses"
Glamazda also reflected on Kuzmin's reputation. He believes the organization wants to give a chance to someone willing to work hard and develop in the game.
"Nikita, in my view, is an incredibly hard worker, very disciplined, and highly demanding," Glamazda expressed. "He has proven potential for leadership and strong gameplay. I should add that at one point, we considered him and Kiritych for the first position in Virtus.pro, but we eventually chose Pure~ instead.
"Nikita is a mature individual. It's better for us to support his ambition to try something new and change his image than not to. We have the means to do so, and we’re using them. If it doesn't work out for him, that's okay, but at least we gave it a shot. This applies to many players and people in the industry. Not everyone may have a perfect reputation, but if you see potential, sincerity, and a strong desire to work and dedicate themselves to their craft, why not give them the opportunity to realize it?"
Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin’s new team includes Maxim "Shigetsu" Popadinets, Yegor "Xakoda" Lipartia, and other esports athletes. The team has qualified for the closed qualifiers for The International 2024 in Eastern Europe.
