ShiiShak: "I've never played competitively in my life. My first team is Secret"

Team Secret stand-in Alexey "ShiiShak" Ustinov reflected on his career growth in Dota 2. During a stream, he was outraged that a viewer referred to the qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2024 as a tier-3 tournament.

"Before this, I had never played competitively in my life. In one year, I went from a thousandth rank to the top 100, and my first team was Secret. Who else has that? I was a micro-step away from making it to Riyadh Masters. Are you crazy? Saying I didn't pass tier-3 qualifiers..." Alexey "ShiiShak" Ustinov shared his frustration.

Ustinov joined Team Secret as a stand-in at the end of May 2024. With him, the team did not make it out of the group stage at FISSURE Universe Episode 2 and failed to qualify for Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024.

According to ShiiShak, he will continue to play with Secret. The club has not made any official announcements about this. The next event for the team will be the Super Dimensional Vision Snow Ruyi, which will take place from July 28 to August 4 in China. Participants from several regions will compete for a $500,000 prize pool.
