During the draft stage of the first map, a support player from Azure Ray opened a PUBG stream. The organisers imposed a penalty, resulting in the team losing their bonus time during hero selection.
The penalty will be in effect for their upcoming series against Talon Esports. Following the second day of matches, Azure Ray has been eliminated from the chance to advance to the upper bracket of the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational, meaning the forthcoming match will not impact their standings.
Previously, during the Bali Major 2023, a similar incident led to a technical loss for the BetBoom Team, and player Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko was disqualified.
The Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational runs from July 28 to August 4, with teams competing for a prize pool of $500,000.
