​​Talon Esports and AVULUS secured dominant victories in the grand finals of the closed qualifiers for FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025 in Dota 2, which took place from December 18 to 22, 2024. Both teams have advanced to the main stage of the tournament, set to take place in Belgrade from January 24 to February 2, 2025, where they will compete for a prize pool of one million dollars.

Talon Esports, led by Carlo Kuku Palad, left BOOM Esports with no chance, winning 3-1. This result earned them a spot in the main phase of the tournament.

Meanwhile, in Western Europe, AVULUS also triumphed in the grand final, defeating Nigma Galaxy and securing their place in the main stage. The team's captain, Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev, and his players demonstrated their strength in the challenging qualifiers.

AVULUS's mid-laner, Daniel Stormstormer Schöetza, shared his thoughts on his team's advancement to FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025 in a post on X:

"We’ve made it through the qualifiers for the next LAN in Belgrade. I’m proud of my team — each of us worked hard for this result. It’s been a long season of qualifiers and tournaments, so now we’re looking forward to some rest. GG WP, Nigma Galaxy."

Thus, both teams have earned their place among the best at the year’s main tournament, and now they will battle for the title and the substantial prize.
