Players from 9Pandas shared their expectations for the upcoming Dota 2 update. In a social media video, most of the team members listed several changes they would like to see in the patch, while team captain Alexey "Solo" Berezin expressed himself bluntly.

Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyrjanov speculated that Valve might change the economy in Dota 2 and reconsider the mechanics of defensive glyphs.

"I think they'll just fix some heroes. Maybe they'll change the economy, like giving fewer rewards for kills or streaks, or they'll change the system somehow. I think they'll fix glyphs because they're annoying, there are too many of them."
According to Albert "Alberkaaa" Chernoyvanov, the upcoming update will primarily affect the most popular heroes.

"I'm expecting nerfs for some items, like Wind Waker. Wind Waker, I think, is definitely too broken of an item. And all the meta heroes will be nerfed a bit: Dragon Knight, who flexes into all positions, Leshrac — heroes like that."
Mikhail "DarkLord^" Blinov, like Solo, doubted that Valve would release a major update for Dota 2 anytime soon.

"Knowing Valve, I think they'll write: 'Hello everyone, we're releasing a text patch, where +1 armor, -1 armor.' They'll write: 'We haven't finished everything yet, wait for us in the summer.' I hope they'll just remove the gates completely *** from this game."
In the latter half of March, Valve announced that the update titled "Fallen Crown" would be released in mid-April. It's expected to introduce a new hero, Ringmaster, to Dota 2, as well as arcanas for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit.
