Somnus丶M and Chalice Join Forces for TI Qualifiers

The esports team Old Elefant will participate in the qualifiers for The International 2024 in Dota 2. This information was revealed via the Telegram channel.

The team will feature well-known professional players. Yan «Chalice» Shengyi, Lu «Somnus丶M» Yao, Zhou «Yang» Haiyang, Lin «pLAnet» Hao, and Yu «Siamese.C»Yajun have joined forces.

It's worth noting that Elefant (Old Elefant) is a familiar name in the community. The team officially existed from 2020 to 2021, bringing together talented players with high salaries. The team participated in many major tournaments but failed to win a championship at The International.

The current Old Elefant Dota 2 roster:

• Yan «Chalice» Shengyi;
• Lu «Somnus丶M» Yao;
• Zhou «Yang» Haiyang;
• Lin «pLAnet» Hao;
• Yu «Siamese.C» (皮球) Yajun.

The qualifiers will start soon. The Chinese qualifiers for The International 13 will take place from June 3 to June 8. Six teams will advance to the closed qualifiers, where they will compete with invited teams for 2 spots in the Valve tournament.

Previously, Valve, the publisher of Dota 2, announced the dates for the world championship. The International 2024 will be held from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and will consist of three stages.
