SoNNeikO Announces Return to the Pro Scene

Professional esports athlete Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev plans to join a new Dota 2 team. He revealed this during a personal stream.

Butaev's last team was StoRm, from which he departed as a support back in September 2023. After six months, he admitted that he was tired of the professional scene, so he took a break. His last tournament was the Tier 3 Dota2 World Invitationals at the end of March. 

Additionally, he recently achieved an MMR of 12,000 last month.

His last three performances with StoRm were:

• 2023-10-02: 15th - 16th place in Tier 2 Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes #4
• 2023-09-30: 1st place in Tier 3 European Pro League Season 12, defeating Luna Galaxy 3:2
• 2023-09-16: 3rd - 4th place in Tier 2 Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes #3, losing to Team Tickles 1:2

Earlier, SoNNeikO mentioned the organization where he had the highest salary. According to him, it was Natus Vincere.
