SoNNeikO on maintaining composure: "It's years of practice."
Russian esports player, Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev, during his personal Twitch stream, shared how he manages to stay calm while playing Dota 2.
"It's years of practice. Overall, you get used to it when you've played a lot of games, climbed the ranks, and so on, realizing that your rank doesn't improve without such an emotional state. But, of course, some are emotionally active." - SoNNeikO
Earlier, during a personal Twitch stream, the Russian esports player also assessed the performance of the World Team Falcons in Dota 2.
"In most games, they simply make few mistakes. They have good plays, successful ones, I would say. The most important thing is they take their cues on lanes and support." - SoNNeikO
SoNNeikO, a professional Dota 2 player hailing from the CIS region, started his career as a stand-in support for various teams, including Team Empire. He later joined Power Rangers, but when the team lost its sponsor, he made a move to join Na'Vi (Natus Vincere). Na'Vi went through roster changes, eventually building the team around Dendi and SoNNeikO.
SoNNeikO took on the role of captain and drafter for Na'Vi, and although they had a rough start in 2016 with disappointing tournament results and failed qualifications, they showed improvement in the later months. Throughout his career, SoNNeikO has demonstrated resilience and leadership, guiding his team through challenging periods and ultimately achieving success.
