StrangeR: “Antares adapted to our training without any problems”
Alexander "StrangeR" Solomonov, the head of the Dota 2 department at Virtus.pro, shared the team's upcoming plans. The entire lineup has obtained visas for participation in PGL Wallachia Season 1. Vladislav "Antares" Kertman continues to adapt within the team.
"The team has received visas and gathered for a boot camp to prepare for PGL Wallachia. We have a busy month ahead, so it's important to plan our preparation for all tournaments properly.
Regarding Antares: from the first impression, Vlad has integrated well into the team and adapted smoothly to our training process. Undoubtedly, some changes have occurred, but that's what we wanted. There's still a lot of work ahead, and we'll evaluate the results in the long run. We're training while we have time, then the team will embark on a lengthy flight to Romania."
On April 25, Kertman joined VP after a rough start to the season with 9Pandas. The previous team only managed to qualify for the Elite League 2024, where they performed poorly and finished last. Antares replaced Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet, who was moved to the bench.
On May 6, organizers of PGL Wallachia Season 1 announced that Tundra would not be able to participate in the tournament due to visa issues. MOUZ will take their place at the tournament.
