SumaiL gets permanent ban in CS2

The legend of Dota, mid-laner for Nigma Galaxy, Saeid 'SumaiL' Hassan, has been banned from Counter-Strike 2. The esports player revealed this on his personal X account, sharing a screenshot of the notification from Steam.

According to the screenshot, SumaiL received a permanent in-game ban specifically in CS2. The reason for the ban is still being determined, and Hassan mentioned that he had not played the Valve shooter for several months.

Previously, Valve released an update prohibiting any forms of movement automation and other actions, with penalties limited to match exclusion for violations of the new rule.

Additionally, the CS2 developers announced the start of limited testing for the new anti-cheat system, VacNet 3.0, and asked users to report any perceived unjustified bans. SumaiL has since reached out to Valve on X.
