Taiga kicked from Leviatan

Leviatán has parted ways with Tommy "Taiga" Le, two weeks after new evidence emerged of his involvement with Russian match-fixers. Taiga first opened up about his gambling addiction six months ago while benched on the OG roster. Since then, he has taken a step back from competitive play to focus on addressing his anxiety and depression through therapy.

Despite not facing punishment from Valve or any third-party tournament organizers, Leviatán gave Taiga a second chance when he joined the organization last month. He competed in two separate qualifiers under their banner but fell short of securing a spot in both DreamLeague Season 23 and PGL Wallachia Season 1.

However, following the emergence of a new incriminating video showing Taiga collaborating with the Russian match-fixing mafia and betting on his professional games during the Dota Pro Circuit in 2023, Leviatán decided to part ways with him. While Valve has yet to make a statement regarding Taiga's situation, his former team is preparing for the remainder of the competitive season and has welcomed Kenny "Xepher" Deo to their roster.

"Due to recent events, we have decided to end our partnership with Taiga by mutual agreement.

Leviatan stands against unsportsmanlike conduct. The organization upholds values based on integrity." - Leviatan

On April 5, 2024, YouTuber Morf released an investigation. One of its participants was Taiga, who may be associated with Alexander "Sensibility" Filatov, known for involvement in match-fixing.

Earlier, OG released a statement condemning Taiga's behavior. According to representatives of the organization, they conducted a private investigation following rumors and found no evidence of the player's guilt.
