Belarusian esports player Artem 'fng' Barshak shared his thoughts on the hero Ancient Apparition during a personal stream.

Artem 'fng' Barshak described Ancient Apparition as a subpar hero, criticising its abilities as ineffective. He expressed his frustration, noting that the hero lacks impactful damage and that its skills do not function well. Barshak suggested that even a single ability designed for laning could improve the hero’s performance. He complained that Ancient Apparition’s abilities are inadequate for laning, with one particularly weak spell that offers minimal utility, only dealing a stronger hit occasionally.

He compared Ancient Apparition unfavourably with Jakiro, pointing out that Jakiro’s early levels provide significant magical damage, while Ancient Apparition only offers basic attacks and limited crowd control, particularly if the carry lacks a stun. Overall, Barshak dismissed Ancient Apparition as ineffective.
