"The hardest part remains — getting visas." NS on 1win's qualification for TI13
Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov, and other community representatives commented on 1win's qualification for The International 2024 in Dota 2. Most are concerned that the team might not receive their visas.
NS said, "1win earned the sole slot for TI in Eastern Europe. The hardest part remains — getting visas."
Maelstorm expressed, "I'm very happy for Ahilles. He left a decent team Virtus.pro for nowhere and made it to The International. I remember flying with them after TI12. Everyone was sitting together, and he was a bit apart. He's still apart now but in a much better situation."
Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov stated, "I feel bad for Lekho Solo, but it was fair; the opponent was stronger in every aspect. Overall, with the lineup 9Pandas had, reaching the grand final and even putting up a fight there is already heroic, but there's only one slot. We'll see what happens next."
Daria "Eiritel" Morozova remarked, "Congrats to 1win, a very confident race. It's clear their preparation was top-notch. God knows what will happen with 'Dota' by September when TI comes, but for most of the team's players, this is their first tier-1 LAN. So, I think they will be happy regardless of the result, unless the embassy wrecks them in the secret grand final of the qualification."
Alexey "Lex" Filippov commented, "A clear victory for 1win. This year, Solo joins Fng and God in a potentially strong analytics studio. It seems he's ending his pro-scene journey as a player. Meanwhile, the guys from 1win have another qualification ahead: at the visa consulate."
1win crushed 9Pandas in the grand final of the qualifiers with a score of 3-0. Ahilles' team secured the only slot for TI13 for Eastern Europe. Detailed statistics of the final match are available on our website.
In the spring of 2023, 1win faced issues due to visa problems. The roster was disqualified from participating in ESL One Birmingham 2024.
