The transfer and break time after TI should last at least three weeks

Belarusian commentator Alexey "Lex" Filippov shared his thoughts on roster changes in the professional Dota 2 scene following The International 2024 on his personal Telegram channel.

He expressed that a reshuffle in Dota within a week was absurd, stating that the transfer window and the break from tournaments after TI should last at least three weeks to give players a chance to rest and transition smoothly. He remarked that it was complete chaos, reminiscent of 2019 when almost no top teams attended the first major.

Previously, Filippov had also commented on Team Liquid's victory in the grand final of The International 2024. He noted that while he had predicted a final that wasn’t as juicy as expected, it was remarkable how a team could lose key games and finals throughout the season but still claim victory in the main match of the year. He pointed out that this was the third consecutive final with a score of 3-0 and expressed his desire to see a showdown between the West and the East next year, suggesting that those matchups tended to produce the most exciting games. He congratulated Team Liquid and stated that the 2024 season was over, indicating that teams had a couple of weeks for a break before the new season of endless tournaments began.
