There was no annual meeting with Valve

Luka "Lukawa" Nasuashvili, manager of BetBoom Team from Eastern Europe, shared on his personal Telegram channel that Valve did not hold their usual annual meeting with teams at The International 2024.

He noted that the annual meeting, which typically includes the announcement of group stages and other updates similar to those in the welcome letter, did not take place. Nasuashvili also mentioned that he had not seen any Valve representatives at the hotel yet, though they might arrive later, or they might not have crossed paths. He expressed concern that these signs were leading to a disappointing situation.

The International 2024 will take place from 4 to 15 September in Copenhagen, Denmark. At the time of publication, the prize pool for the tournament stands at $2.35 million and continues to grow through compendium sales and levels.
