Thoughts the Falcons and SR captains about ESL One Bangkok

At the ESL One Bangkok 2024 championship, not only the tournament's progress is being discussed, but also the influence of various factors on the players and coaches of the teams.

Coach of the North American team Shopify Rebellion, Sam "BuLba" Sosale, spoke about the expectations his team had upon arriving in Thailand. According to him, the team's results align with their plans, although they had hoped to at least take a map from Team Falcons. "Of course, we would have liked to win or at least take a map off them, but they are the best team in the world. The first game was tough, and in the second we had some opportunities to turn things around, but they remain the best," noted the coach. He added that for two of Shopify Rebellion's players, this is their first LAN experience, and it is very important for them.

"We just want to show our best game and, of course, perform on stage. I think they will enjoy playing on stage at their first LAN."

Team Falcons player, Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu, also shared his thoughts on the current state of the Dota 2 hero Naga Siren. In his opinion, the hero has been significantly weakened.

"Naga Siren used to be a great first pick against any heroes, but now, if you pick her first, you might lose the lane. The hero has become more situational, but if the game allows, she is still strong,"

explained Jingjun.

Additionally, the coach of Team Falcons from Canada, Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling, spoke about how the series Ted Lasso has influenced his approach to coaching. According to him, the series came at a perfect time when he had just started coaching. "There are many lessons in the series that have influenced how I view coaching and player development. Ted Lasso does a great job with many of these lessons, which are about what truly matters for a team and its dynamics," said Kurtis.
