Topson ends his career in Dota 2

The esports organisation Tundra Esports has announced further changes to its Dota 2 roster, with Finnish player Topias Miikka "Topson" Taavitsainen stepping down from the team. According to the official statement, he has decided to leave the professional Dota 2 scene.

"From stand-in at TI 12 to top 3 at TI 13.

POGson, GOGson, DADson - TOPSON.  

After many patches, countless tournaments, and wild drafts, we bid him farewell as he steps away from competitive Dota.

Thank you so much for everything."

Topson joined Tundra Esports in September of last year. With him, the team secured third place at the 2024 edition of The International and finished in the top four at Riyadh Masters 2024. Recently, Russian players Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev and Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko also departed from Tundra Esports.
