Streamer Timur "TraVoMaN" Khafizov compared Dota 2 and CS 2 from a viewer's perspective. He believes the shooter lacks variety, and MOBA viewership has dropped due to the lack of updates. We interviewed Khafizov at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 by FISSURE.
"For me, CS lacks variety. You do the same thing, and it's very specialized. People stopped watching Dota because there's no patch yet. When this patch just came out, it was new to everyone. Everyone farmed, spread out, could extend the map, and sit at the base for a long time. Just because it's been happening for too long, watching it has become a bit boring. In CS, the viewership is higher because of greater dynamics. Teams of different levels occasionally meet, offering a wide range of comebacks or blowouts," Khafizov expressed.
