Travoman: "I'll regain 11,000 MMR at any time if that's the goal."

Streamer Timur "Travoman" Khafizov revealed when he could regain 11,000 MMR in Dota 2. He believes he could achieve it whenever he sets such a goal for himself.

"When will I regain 11,000 MMR? Well, anytime. If that were the goal and priority, I would have had 13,000 MMR long ago. But that's not the task at hand. We're just sitting and playing for relaxation. No stress." - Timur "Travoman" Khafizov

Earlier, Khafizov explained why he doesn't play as a carry. He dislikes the role due to the lack of constant fights. More details can be found in our news article.

Khafizov is not the first one who doesn't plan to raise his MMR. At the end of April, carry player Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov stated that it takes a long time to find matches at a high rating, so esports players aren't incentivized to be at the top of the leaderboard.

MMR, or Matchmaking Rating, serves as a numerical indicator of a player's skill level in games like Dota 2. It reflects a player's performance in ranked matches and is often used to determine matchmaking and team compositions. Players strive to increase their MMR as a measure of their improvement and standing within the competitive community.
