Puppey: "Vengeful Spirit is a very strong hero right now"

In a post-match interview, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, the captain of the Western European team World Team Secret from Estonia, shared his thoughts on the Dota 2 hero Vengeful Spirit.

"Vengeful Spirit is incredibly powerful at the moment," Puppey stated. "However, I believe this hero isn't suited to play a 'position three' role. This hero excels when building items like Butterfly and becomes a real threat. It's crucial to play toward that rather than as a support. Even if you opt for a 'position three' role, it should be similar to how AdmiralBulldog plays Lone Druid. You give them the farm, and they dominate their lane and clear the map quickly to get the necessary items. Playing as a support Vengeful Spirit, who buys a Force Staff and does nothing, isn't effective."

The closed qualifiers for The International 2024 in the Western European region are taking place from June 19 to 23. The top two teams will earn a spot in the championship.
