Valve has opened submissions for the annual Dota 2 short film contest held before The International tournament.
Authors must publish their videos by August 19, 2024. The video length should not exceed 90 seconds. Fans can watch and rate the submissions in the Steam Workshop.
The first-place winner will receive $25,000. Second and third places will earn $10,000 and $5,000, respectively. The top 10 finalists will each receive $500.
In 2023, the winner was the video "Chemical Rage" by blogger 4fun. The top three also included short films "Finish Pls" by Keller Max and "GAME BREAKERS" by Anomidae.
