Valve Fixes Bugs with Warlock, Meepo, and Witch Doctor

Valve released a small patch for Dota 2, fixing bugs with Warlock, Meepo, and Witch Doctor. The update size was 14 MB.

All three heroes had various ways to spoil the game. The Meepo bug occurred when the user placed Manta Style in the neutral item slot and bought Iron Branches for other slots. This caused the player to disconnect from the server, allowing others to use the neutral item to create infinite copies, which the character could sell upon reconnecting.

The Warlock bug was related to the Black Grimoire aspect. The hero had to buy Manta Style, and upon using it, other heroes could pick up experience books from each created illusion. Witch Doctor could receive more passive gold thanks to the Gris-Gris ability.

The last major update, 7.36c, was released on June 25, 2024. The game saw balance changes for some heroes and items, including Pudge, Medusa, and Radiance.
