Valve is actively working on preparing the compendium for The International 2024 in Dota 2, as reported by the Telegram channel "Dota Stepan's." In a post summarizing minor changes from the developers, the author also mentioned updates for the main client.
DOTA 2 Update: July 10, 2024 — July 24, 2024
- Localization;
- Various visual fixes in Act Three;
- Added support for AMD Anti-Lag 2.0 technology;
- Fixed some hooks for Pudge when using the new set from the Collector’s Cache with the Arcana as the base hero;
- Added compatibility with Arcana for most of Queen of Pain's shoulder items;
- Added anti-cheat protection in "Dragon Chess": If a cheat is detected, the result will not be displayed on the leaderboard and will not bring rewards. As far as I know, this triggers when using a console command to slow down time.
Regarding the upcoming compendium:
- On July 11 (according to the parsing bot Mukas), TI13 was added to the site with the following content deadlines for pro players (photos, autographs, voice lines) — August 5 and August 13;
- On July 20, trackable stats for pro players were added for bingo, predictions, and fantasy league;
- On July 24, new "missions" for bingo were added.
The International 2024 will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sixteen teams, including Team Spirit, BetBoom Team, and Cloud9, will participate. The starting prize pool for the competition is $1.6 million.
