Cloud9 coach about Riyadh Masters 2024

The coach of the Western European team Cloud9, Filipe "Astini" Astini, explained the reasons behind his team's disappointing performance at the Riyadh Masters 2024, where they finished in 9-12th place.

Astini noted that while the team performed well during the group stage, they faced setbacks in the playoffs, losing twice. The team felt the pressure and lost confidence in their abilities. He emphasised that working with a psychologist is the best course of action to address these issues, which is something they are currently pursuing with Cloud9.

The Riyadh Masters 2024 took place from 4 to 21 July in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The event featured 20 teams, with a total prize pool of $5 million.
