Following the Dota 2 team's exit from the qualifiers for The International 2024, representatives from Virtus.pro vowed to take significant steps to create a competitive roster.

On June 16, Virtus.pro was defeated by the L1GA Team in the lower bracket of the Eastern Europe qualifiers, eliminating their chances of advancing to the main event of the season.
