Watson joins Gladiators

Professional Dota 2 player Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov has transferred to Gaimin Gladiators. The club's representatives shared this news on their social media.

In the team, he replaces Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov, who was moved to the bench on 3 October. The first event for the revamped Gladiators roster will be the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, taking place from 19 to 26 October.

Watson began his esports career in 2018. Throughout his time with various teams, he became champion of the 1win Series Dota 2 Spring and FISSURE Universe: Episode 2, and achieved a 5th-6th place finish at The International 2024. Over his career, Islambekov has earned more than $161,000.
