XBOCT on How He Managed to Eavesdrop on TI

Commentator and streamer Alexander "XBOCT" Dashkevich reminisced about his time playing at The International in Dota 2. According to him, the booths were not soundproof, and he could hear the actions of his opponents.

"Whenever I remember those The Internationals, I recall sitting there, like an honest person, with one ear in my headset. With the other ear, I listened for when the observers on the big screen would focus on the enemy Dark Seer. And as soon as I heard 'Surge,' I pressed 'Rage' and teleported. And they didn't realize that if they didn't use Surge just once, I'd be done for. But they kept using it. I told Valve about it: 'You claim that the booths are soundproof—here's proof to the contrary.'" - Alexander "XBOCT" Dashkevich

This may refer to a match against Orange Esports at The International 2013. Natus Vincere won the series 2:1.

XBOCT participated in five TIs. NAVI's best result was first place at The International 2011, where the team won one million dollars.

Earlier, analyst Maxim "Shachlo" Abramovskikh suggested a way to improve matchmaking. He believes that tokens for double MMR should be free and unlimited, which would help prevent MMR inflation.
