XinQ spoke out about the end of Xtreme Gaming players' careers

Xtreme Gaming Support Zhao "XinQ" Ziyin stated that he is uncertain whether his teammates plan to retire from Dota 2. He is taking a break from competitive play for a few months. His comments were shared on the Telegram channel "Muesli Chinese."

"Honestly, after playing at TI, I no longer see myself as part of the Xtreme group. I’m just immersed in my world, playing alone and not interacting much with them. I don’t know if any of them are taking a break or not. In any case, after playing at TI, they usually rest for a few months, and they haven’t made any announcements about retirement or anything like that. I’m not sure what’s going on with them, but I plan to rest for at least 3-4 months before deciding whether I’ll continue playing or not."

Rumours about the players of Xtreme Gaming potentially retiring surfaced after the conclusion of The International 2024, where the team finished in fifth to sixth place. Formally, all members of the roster are still listed with the team; however, it is speculated that the organisation is assembling a new roster, with only Guo "Xm" Huncheng likely to retain his spot.

Xtreme Gaming Roster:

- Wang "Ame" Chunyui

- Guo "Xm" Huncheng

- Lin "Xxs" Jing

- Zhao "XinQ" Ziyin

- Ding "Dy" Cong
